About

compreel collects videos that people made by having Claude Opus 5.5 (and, as it arrives, Fable 5.5) write code that draws every frame. It is a reading list for anyone curious about what this kind of video looks like and how it is made.

Not official

compreel is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Anthropic. We use model names only to describe the videos. We do not use Anthropic or Claude logos, colours or typefaces.

How we show videos

We embed, we do not copy. Each video is the author's own public post on X, shown through X's official embed, with the author, the original link and the date intact. We do not download, re-host or edit any video or cover image.

What we include

1. The post or thread says the video was made with code written by Opus 5.5 or another Claude model.
2. The picture is good: a real motion piece, not a screen recording of a chat.
3. There is something to learn: a type of video, a device, a rhythm.
4. No adult content, hate, or contested likenesses of real people.

Each entry has a short note on why it is worth watching. We have not verified how every video was made beyond what the author states in the post.

Removal

If you made a video here and want it removed, email hello@compreel.com or tell us from the account that posted it. We will remove it within 24 hours. Deleting the post on X also makes the embed disappear.

Email hello@compreel.com with the link to your post, or mention us on X. We read every submission and add the ones that meet the standard above.

Who makes this

compreel is run by the team behind launchreel.ai, which makes launch videos from a website address. That is the only link to a product on this site.
